Berks Bards loosens up with a meal at Mezcal's Restaurant, 150 N. 6th Street in Reading, at 5 p.m. then enjoys a performance fusing poetry and percussion with Pete Barnhart beginning at 6.
You are invited to recite your poems with the beat of drums at an open mic from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring your appetite for a Mexican style meal and bring your poetry. The drumming is on us.
