Regional and State contestants and winners of the Poetry Out Loud contest share the microphone with emerging young poets from Reading, Governor Mifflin and other area schools at 6:30 p.m. at the Mifflin Public Library, 6 Philadelphia Avenue in Shillington.
Chief among the students who will perform is Aaron Preston, a sophomore from Reading High School. Fifteen year old Person represented the Reading High School at the state competitions in Harrisburg this year.
An open mic is part of the evening's events.
