March 7, 2013 6 P.M. at the Cucina Cafe in the GoggleWorks First Thursday featuring Joseph Wade



 Join Berks Bards in welcoming Poet Joseph Wade.

Joseph Wade is an eight-year veteran of the military and has been working for vets whenever time allows. In the meantime, he attends Brooklyn College as a Creative Writing Major while taking writing classes at NYU and Fordham. He has co-hosted Sex and Politics Radio: Literature Hour and has edited Wildwood Journal and The Kingsman Newspaper. He now works on The Junction. His first book of poetry, Of Life Infallible, was funded by the Rosen Fellowship. His work can be found in a number of publications including Grey Sparrow Journal, Wilderness House Press and By the Overpass Books. Be a part of BardFest2013!

Berks Bards is once again partnering with Berks Community Television to air one-minute poems throughout the month of April as part of BardFest2013.

Twenty-two poets have approximately 15 minutes each in which to tape a poem on the afternoons of Wednesday, March 6th or Wednesday, March 13.

To help defray the costs of editing, a $10 fee, payable to Berks Bards, is due at the time of taping.

Space is limited, by appointment only and on a first come, first serve basis.
