Tuesday Oct. 11, 2011 Poetry Workshop Bernardine Hall Auditorium 3:45 pm Alvernia University featuring Marilyn L.T. Klimcho

FULL CIRCLE:WRITING COMPELLING POETRY

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, 2011

Bernardine Hall Auditorium, 3:45-5:15-ish.

You’ve felt it every day of your life. Something happens and you want to write about it, to capture the event and relive it, to share it, or somehow “catch” its unique power in words.

You have stories you want to tell. You are searching for ways to “boil it down” in a way that will rivet your listeners and make them long to turn the page.

Guess what? That is POETRY. You don’t need to “be” a poet to try it!

This “playshop” will show you how to mine your life experiences for stories that can become poems.
